About the Role

Cintra is a global leader in transportation infrastructure, with long-standing experience which spans 30 years delivering and operating state-of-the-art open road tolling and intelligent transportation systems. We're introducing our fourth-generation platform to support managed lane transactions in all our projects in US, combining ITS and new methods of payment for used based infrastructure via advanced sensors and hybrid cloud edge architecture. The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering and operating complex projects at the intersection of hardware and software. This highly technical position requires a holistic grasp of the complete SLDC, Azure cloud services, software and hardware architecture, IoT, advanced sensing solutions and AI data analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, plan, and oversee multifaceted projects that integrate both hardware and software, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and deadlines.

Engage deeply with technical teams across development and operations, contributing to detailed discussions to assess risks and monitor overall project health.

Coordinate stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, facilitating clear communication and collaboration to ensure timely, on-budget project delivery.

Bridge technical and business teams, translating complex details into actionable plans for all parties involved.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Ferrovial Technical Office: Work closely to uphold standards in processes, architecture, technology stack, and quality assurance across cybersecurity, data management, cloud services, technology, and DevOps.

Cintra Concessions: Serve as the liaison to the end user, incorporating feedback during the development and ensuring solutions meet operational needs during the deployment and operation.

Cintra Product Owner: Partner to align on functionality and maintain a forward-looking development roadmap.

Vendors: Oversee and interface with insource and outsource vendors responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including ongoing operational support.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in IT, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or relevant Business Degree. Postgraduate education desired

Texas licensed P.E. is welcomed but not strictly required

Extensive experience managing large-scale technology projects in the transportation industry or similar technical environments.

Deep technical knowledge spanning cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred), DevOps practices, software/hardware architecture, IoT, and sensing technologies.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster effective collaboration among multiple stakeholders.

Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and risk management skills.

Experience working in regulated environments where compliance with SOX and RAMP is required is welcomed but not necessary.
