LHH Recruitment Solutions has an opening for a Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager for our client in the Trenton, NJ area to join their Municipal and Land Development Engineering divisions.
This hybrid direct hire role offers the chance to contribute to a diverse array of impactful infrastructure and development projects within a collaborative and innovative environment stretching across NJ for vast portfolio of projects such as infrastructure, residential and commercial, water and wastewater facilities, etc. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 12+ years in Municipal Civil Engineering project management.
Salary range: $150k - $175k
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Independently and collaboratively contribute to multidisciplinary project teams. Manage and execute public and private sector contracts Collaborate directly with licensed engineering professionals. Create surfaces, contours, alignments, and profiles using Autodesk Civil 3D. Creation of survey base maps, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and ALTA/NSPS surveys. Oversee and manage project files, layer standards, and title blocks. Develop technical engineering designs, construction documentation, and permit applications for State and County agencies. Prepare grant applications on behalf of municipal clients. REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Minimum of 12 plus years required in civil/survey drafting. GIS and point cloud data familiarity. Required - NJ Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and experience in technical design, bid documentation (plans and specifications), cost estimation, and regulatory permitting. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting. Professional demeanor with a collaborative and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
