Job Overview
Serve as the senior leader of the restaurant, responsible for overall operations, financial performance, team development, and guest satisfaction. Balance strategic planning with daily presence on the floor, shaping culture and ensuring excellence in service, food quality, and profitability.
Responsibilities
Lead all front-of-house and back-of-house operations to achieve service, quality, and financialobjectives.
Manage labor, food, beverage, and controllable costs to align with budget goals.
Develop, recommend, andmonitorannual budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance.
Recruit, hire, and develop the management team; conduct regular performance reviews and succession planning.
Conduct weekly manager meetings, monthly P&L reviews, and staff check-ins to ensure alignment and accountability.
Maintain collaborative partnership with culinary leadership to ensure seamless service and shared ownership of results.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety and sanitation regulations, and brand standards.
Oversee guest experience and respond promptly to concerns or issues tomaintainsatisfaction.
Promote marketing initiatives, activations, and seasonal campaigns that drive sales and guest engagement.
Lead floor operations during service, modeling professionalism, urgency, and hospitality.
Support service execution when needed, including greeting guests,expediting,assistingwith food and beverage delivery, or resolving issues.
Foster a respectful, inclusive, and positive workplace culture that promotes engagement and retention.
Qualifications
Education/Formal Training
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
ServSafeManager certificationrequired.
Qualifications
Minimum five years of progressive leadership experience in restaurant or food & beverage operations, with at least two years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage financials, and build strong workplace culture.
Must meet state and federalminimumrequirements for serving alcohol.
Knowledge/Skills
Strong financial acumen: P&L management, labor targets, food and beverage cost, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, POS systems, labor scheduling, and inventory platforms.
Ability to communicate effectively with associates, leadership, and guests.
Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of beverage operations preferred.
