The Opportunity: We are seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist to join our team. You will be instrumental in: Delivering exceptional patient care: Provide expert diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of cancer patients utilizing advanced radiation therapy techniques. Teton Cancer Institute: Teton Cancer Institute is an affiliate of Mountain View Hospital, a physician-owned, community-focused hospital located in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Our Radiation Oncology Department is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to delivering advanced, patient-centered cancer treatment. Equipped with cutting-edge technology and supported by a multidisciplinary team of radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, therapists, and nurses, we offer a comprehensive range of therapies. Major Equipment and Technology: Linear Accelerators: Two Varian TrueBeam Systems with Identify Surface Guidance, and 6 DOF couch. Biograph 64 PET/CT Scanner SOMATOM go.Sim CT Simulator ARIA Electronic Medical Record Treatment Capabilities: External Beam Radiation Therapies: IGRT, IMRT, SBRT, SRS. Radiopharmaceutical Therapies: Lutathera (177Lu-DOTATATE), Pluvicto (177Lu-PSMA-617), Xofigo (Radium-223 dichloride) Requirements: M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution. Board Eligibility or Certification in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology. Ability to obtain/maintain unrestricted medical license in Idaho. Demonstrated expertise in modern radiation therapy techniques. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
