Clinical Nursing Manager - Hospice - Full-Time - Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Must hold a current RN license in your state of employment. Require a minimum of 3 years of direct patient care experience, including 2 years in hospice or home-based care settings. Proven ability to understand and implement hospice principles, industry standards, and adhere to regulatory compliance such as Medicare, Medicaid, JCAHO, and ACHC. We are excited to welcome a dedicated Clinical Nursing Manager to our hospice team. Reporting to the Executive Director or Administrator, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing patient care activities, ensuring the delivery of exceptional and compliant hospice services. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Overseeing and directing patient care services to guarantee high-quality hospice care. Managing the scheduling of visits, making clinical judgment calls on reassignment, missed, declined, or rescheduled visits based on priorities. Handling incoming phone referrals and medical concerns promptly, compassionately, and professionally. Leading interdisciplinary group (IDG) meetings, including patient updates, chart reviews, and care plan coordination. Serving as a mentor and clinical support to staff, promoting development, performance, and compliance. Ensuring care delivery meets all federal, state, and local regulatory standards, along with company policies. Supporting performance improvement initiatives and quality assessments within the location. Qualifications - What You'll Bring: Current RN license in the state of employment. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. At least 3 years of direct patient care experience, with a minimum of 2 years in hospice or home-based care settings. Strong knowledge of hospice principles, industry standards, and regulatory compliance. Compassion for terminally ill patients and their families. Ability to lead and support a diverse care team that addresses the emotional and clinical needs of patients from various backgrounds. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills. Proficiency in clinical documentation and technology systems. Preferred Qualifications (Not Required): Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Experience in leadership, team management, or supervision in hospice or home health settings. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms.
