Emergency Department Nurse Manager
for a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center near Overland Park, KS. This leadership role is responsible for directing daily ER operations, ensuring quality patient care, and supporting staff development in one of the busiest emergency settings in the region. Responsibilities
Lead and oversee operations of a busy emergency department in a Level I Trauma Center.
Ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care delivery.
Supervise nursing staff with responsibility for recruitment, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership to maintain quality and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with evidence-based practices, hospital standards, and regulatory requirements.
Manage resources and budgets in alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications: Qualifications
Required
Active RN license in Missouri or Compact state.
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care emergency department management experience.
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or Red Cross).
ENPC or PALS required upon hire.
TNCC or ATCN within 1 year of hire.
Preferred
National specialty certification in emergency nursing or leadership.
Prior experience in Level I Trauma leadership.
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Annual salary $110,500–$128,939 (based on experience).
