Remote, Hybrid, or In-office A Day in the Life As a Wealth Transition Services Manager, you will take on a vital role that includes: Reviewing ultra-high net worth 1041 tax returns and addressing complex technical questions across the firm regarding multi-state filings. Collaborating with tax staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of 1041 tax returns while adhering to firm protocols. Interpreting various legal documents related to estate and business succession planning, focusing on the income tax implications of trusts. Conducting detailed research on income tax for trusts and estates to assist internal clients. Providing support to clients with varying levels of tax knowledge, including family office clients and corporate trust organizations. Analyzing the tax situations of individuals and their estates/trusts to optimize tax benefits. Managing client relationships by proactively identifying solutions that enhance the client experience. Taking on business development and billing responsibilities. Creating marketing materials and leading internal and external training sessions. Coaching and mentoring team members for professional growth. Collaborating with the Wealth Transition Services team on advisory and compliance projects. Who You Are You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and possess an active CPA license or JD/LLM in taxation. With over 5 years of experience in gift, trust, and estate tax, you have a strong background in public accounting or law. You are a 1041 expert skilled in research and making technically sound recommendations. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills enable you to engage effectively with high net worth clients and present on wealth transition topics. You excel at multitasking and consistently meet deadlines. You have a proven track record in business development and networking. You are enthusiastic about contributing to a leading top-25 CPA firm and managing various engagements nationwide.
