As the Vice President of Data & Analytics with TQL, you will lead the strategy, development, and execution of enterprise data capabilities that support operational excellence, data-driven decision making, and innovation across all lines of the business. This role is accountable for the full data lifecycle — from data ingestion and governance to analytics, machine learning, and value realization.
The position is located in Cincinnati, with paid relocation provided.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Define and own the enterprise data strategy, translate business needs into data platform capabilities, and partner across teams to promote a data-informed culture. Data Platform Ownership: Oversee the modernization and integration of cloud-based data architecture, drive efforts to consolidate and govern enterprise data assets, and ensure the delivery of high-quality data. Analytics & Reporting: Lead the enterprise reporting and business intelligence strategy, empower operations and leadership with near real-time insights, and collaborate with stakeholders to measure ROI from data products. Advanced Analytics & Data Science: Guide the development of AI/ML models, establish processes for model governance, and monitor business impact. Data Governance & Compliance: Oversee data governance programs, ensure alignment with regulatory and customer compliance requirements, and manage data privacy and security. Team Management: Build and manage a high-performing team, establish a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, and lead budgeting, hiring, and capability planning. Requirements:
Minimum 12 years of experience in data and analytics leadership, with 5+ years at the executive level. Proven track record in scaling enterprise data programs within high-volume industries. Expertise in cloud data platforms, including Azure, Databricks, and ADLS. Strong grasp of 3PL data domains, including customer orders, carrier capacity, and load margin. Ability to align data strategies with business goals and drive measurable outcomes. Exceptional communicator and cross-functional leader with executive stakeholder influence.
