Temp-to-Hire About the Role Our nonprofit client is seeking a bilingual

Employee Relations Manager

to join their People Support Services team. This hybrid role, requiring two days per week onsite in the Mid-City Los Angeles area, is ideal for a professional with strong experience in employee relations and a passion for supporting mission-driven organizations. The Employee Relations Manager will be responsible for investigations, conflict resolution, and employee engagement, helping to ensure a fair, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.

The client is looking for someone who can start immediately. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing coaching and support to staff and managers. Conduct fair, thorough, and confidential investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and workplace concerns. Advise leadership on performance management, corrective actions, and disciplinary issues to ensure consistency and compliance. Partner with People Support Services and leadership to develop engagement strategies that foster trust, inclusion, and retention. Promote organizational values of Access, Belonging, Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (ABIDE) in all interactions. Support initiatives such as employee surveys and workplace assessments to enhance organizational culture. Qualifications 3–5 years of employee relations experience (required). Bilingual in Spanish (required). Strong knowledge of HR policies, performance management practices, and labor/employment laws. Proven experience handling investigations and conflict resolution. Experience in the nonprofit sector preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Approachable, discreet, and professional with the ability to build trust at all levels. Degree or SHRM or HR certification is a plus, though not required.
