The TechOps Finance team is seeking an innovative and results-driven individual for the Project Manager

– TechOps Finance role. This position will be supporting Delta Air Lines Engine Maintenance operation

and will serve as a key business partner to operations leadership, driving cost efficiency, process

improvement, and financial performance through Lean methodologies to deliver industry-leading

operational and financial performance. The successful candidate will have a continuous improvement

mindset and thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

Ownership of the Repair and Support shops Product Line P&L, creating insightful reporting, owning weekly forecast process, developing long-range financial outlook, and supporting the annual operating plan process.

Drive engagement through spending significant time on the shop floor to observe processes, understand value streams, and learn the actual flow of parts through each shop.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational strategies.

Partner with Product Line owners to gain an in-depth understanding of the governing OEM and supplier contracts to maximize contractual entitlements.

Develop both strategic and tactical plans to cultivate a Lean culture that creates a safety conscious environment resulting in employee safety and wellbeing

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

At least 5 years of experience in a finance, operations or analytics-based role.

Strong project management, financial analysis, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and workflows in a structured manner.

Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to distill complex business topics into a cohesive story using metrics and data.

Forward thinking, self-starter that has a proven ability to work independently.

Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills. Fosters an inclusive environment that values diverse people, thinking and styles.

Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or another business-related field, MBA.

Demonstrated ability of applying Lean methodologies and principles in an operating and

transactional environment.

Comprehensive understanding of airline maintenance operations and maintenance program

management.

Ability to influence without direct authority and drive change in a cross-functional environment.

Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach.

Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and experience using Delta’s financial tools such

as SAP as well as advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI / Tableau, and other data

analysis tools.
