Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager for our Construction division. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in commercial construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, including risk and contract management, strategic planning, quality control, and budgeting.

Responsibilities: The Permanent Project Manager will be responsible for the following:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion. 2. Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs. 3. Managing the construction process, including the selection, coordination, and management of subcontractors and vendors. 4. Performing risk management to minimize project risks, identifying potential issues and proactively problem-solving to ensure projects stay on track. 5. Developing and managing comprehensive project budgets and performing cost forecasting and variance analysis. 6. Ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with design and quality standards. 7. Coordinating and communicating with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal team members. 8. Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality regulations. 9. Reviewing contracts and negotiating terms with clients and subcontractors. 10. Providing regular updates and progress reports to senior management.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Project Manager role will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 8-10 years of project management experience in the construction industry. 2. Proven experience with tilt-up, tilt wall, and ground-up construction methods. 3. Extensive experience in commercial Construction. 4. Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods. 5. Expert knowledge in building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards. 6. Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities. 7. Exceptional time management and strategic planning skills. 8. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. 9. Proficient in contract management, risk management, and budgeting. 10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 11. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
