Job Description
Tavant is looking for a full time, seasoned Product Manager who will build new and enhance existing products on Salesforce platform. This strategic role will set the overall vision, develop the strategy, and identify and prioritize the requirements and will work across multiple stakeholders, including customers, partners, executives, and our engineering teams, to build a well-defined and integrated roadmap that delivers new products and capabilities, from initial concept to customer adoption. The ideal candidate should have envisioned and built high-quality products that delivered value to clients in Aftermarket and Service Lifecycle Management space.
Key Accountabilities
• Define product vision, strategy, market strategy and drive the product and business-planning process across cross-functional teams of Tavant
• Analyze consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective in the Aftermarket space
• Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation
• Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams
• Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
• Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans
• Collaborate closely with product engineering, customer success, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Tavant and its features across primary market segments
• Partner with product engineering team to manage the roadmap and backlog to ensure that the team delivers all capabilities on time and per expectation
• Define product pricing strategies
Minimum qualifications:
• 5-10 years of experience in developing/launching digital products within Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or complex supply chain networks
• Strong experience in a dynamic product management role including driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
• Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle in the Aftermarket and Service Lifecycle Management space
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's (preferred) degree in product design or engineering
• Strong analytical, feature prioritization, and negotiating skills
• Usability and customer-focused design experience a plus
• Previous experience delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies
• Passionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems
• Understanding of Salesforce Ecosystem, Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Community etc.)
• Salesforce certifications as Admin, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant would be an added advantage
• AppExchange product development experience would be an added advantage
• Strong executive presence and ability to work closely with senior technology and business leaders
• Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
