Job Description: This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. This is subject to change based on amendments and/or modifications to the ACG Flex Work policy. Emergency Preparedness Program Coordinator- The Auto Club Group What you will do: Position Description Primary Duties and Responsibilities (details of the basic job functions): Develop and implement disaster preparedness plans, training programs and emergency operations drills for all Auto Club Group ("ACG") facilities. Continually review and update emergency management policy, programs and procedures to ensure that both paper and electronic versions are current, available and meet current regulatory standards. Keep abreast of changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Utilize best practices in emergency management and planning. Develop, implement and coordinate ACG wide training on emergency response procedures to all Disaster Response Team members and employees. Manage the AED program for all of ACG. Serve as a contact with federal, state, and local emergency response groups. Develop relationships with local fire, law enforcement, EMS providers and local emergency management groups. Function as ACG Liaison Officer per the ICS model. Conduct and assist in conducting all hazard assessments of ACG facilities. Analyze and interpret results, recommend appropriate corrective actions, communicate results and follows-up on issues or concerns until completion. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities: None How you will benefit: A competitive salary between $74,900 - $99,881 with annual bonus potential based on performance

We are looking for candidates who: Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify) Education: Associate Degree or a minimum of 60 credit hours of college level course work in security, safety or emergency management or related field

Experience: Extensive progressively responsible work experience in emergency management and planning, business continuity, physical security, safety or fire management in a corporate setting

Knowledge and Skills: Extensive knowledge of emergency management, including Emergency Operations Center (EOC) operations, Incident Command System (ICS) operations, and recovery/response operations required

Demonstrated knowledge of conducting risk and all hazards assessments of facilities and analysis of plans for emergency situations

Demonstrated knowledge of development and implementation of crisis management plans and best practices in crisis management.

Demonstrated ability to use technology to work and communicate; ability to assist in developing strategies for the use of technologies such as online collaboration tools, video conferencing, etc.

Demonstrated ability to make decisions and to remain calm, professional, and functional during stressful circumstances. Skilled in situational analysis and problem solving

Skilled in public speaking, creating and delivering presentations to large groups, curriculum and training program development

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in addition to excellent interpersonal communication skills

Ability to work independently and prioritize work assignments and resources

Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in associated field

AEM, CEM or similar professional security, safety or emergency management certification
