TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: AFSCME Local 207-2 Administrative Professionals Agreement Class III Hourly, 10-month (school-term) position - 7.5 hours per day school term, 7.0 hours per day during summer $19.65 - $20.32 per hour starting pay Grand Rapids Area Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package. The district offers contributions toward medical insurance including a health savings account. The district offers paid time off including sick leave, personal leave, and paid holidays. District paid life insurance and long-term disability insurance are available to full-time employees. Retirement matching is available after three years of service, and health care savings account contributions are available after five years of service. Employees are eligible to attend home, non-playoff sporting events at no cost.
PURPOSE: To provide advanced office support and knowledgeable and professional administrative services to students, staff and community in an efficient, courteous and timely manner so that the overall district educational objectives may be achieved. Assure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office or department.
