The role is responsible for building positive relationships with business units and customers to ensure key accounting deadlines are met, issues and disputes are investigated, responded to, and resolved at the earliest time. The Collections Officer needs to display a positive attitude and a team ethos and work effectively under pressure and handle conflict situations whilst remaining professional at all times. The Collections Officer is responsible for ensuring best general ledger and collections practice and procedures, as well as having a strong focus on achieving collection of debt in a proficient and effective manner. Requirements for Success
Performs financial collections across all of EssilorLuxottica group and functions. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of all customers processes. Ensure that the receivables process is fully integrated into the business Complete complex reconciliation of customers accounts and supplier payments Process Medicare and generate manual invoicing for B2B contracts. Demonstrates an ability to analyse and process large volumes of billing data Actively manages the key credit functions Demonstrated experience with billings analysis, invoicing and journals. Actively monitoring collections and proactively communicate with stakeholders to minimise disputes and concerns. Data entry and database maintenance Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues Maintain current and accurate process documentation Ability to conduct dispute investigations and resolution for all customers Investigate and understand individual customer issues and concerns and communicate effectively with the customer and business to resolve these in a timely manner. To effectively deal with disputes or differences of opinions in relation to account matters. Advanced use of SAP & Microsoft Excel 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role Demonstrated experience in process improvements Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and business. Exceptional communications and interpersonal skills Financial Qualification highly desirable Ability to work cross functionally with teams remotely Working at EssilorLuxottica
