Position Summary:
Halyard is seeking a dedicated and experienced
Metal Stud and Wood Framer
to assist in the installation of prefabricated wall and structural panel systems. This individual should have a strong framing background (metal stud or wood), a solid understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage on-site operations efficiently. A coachable mindset and commitment to excellence are essential for success in this role.
Metal Stud and Wood Framer – Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and installation details.
Install metal stud and wood framing systems with accuracy and efficiency.
Measure, cut, assemble, and secure framing materials according to project requirements.
Maintain high standards of quality, craftsmanship, and safety on the job site.
Collaborate with team members and follow direction from supervisors to meet project deadlines.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment required for framing tasks.
Metal Stud and Wood Framer – Qualifications:
Proven experience in metal stud and/or wood framing.
Ability to read and follow basic construction documents and layout drawings.
Strong understanding of framing techniques, tools, and materials.
Knowledge of and adherence to job site safety protocols.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a crew.
Physical ability to perform framing work, including lifting, bending, and working at heights.
