As a Software Administrator, you will be instrumental in managing and coordinating software-related activities across a diverse portfolio of engineering and technical software programs. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams such as IT, legal, procurement, and risk management to ensure seamless deployment, compliance, and ongoing support of vital software tools that drive operational excellence. What's the Job?

Coordinate pilot deployments and full-scale rollouts of new software tools to ensure smooth implementation.

Collaborate with IT teams to verify compatibility and optimize software performance across systems.

Support license negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms and renewals.

Generate and track purchase orders (POs) for software acquisitions and renewals, maintaining accurate records.

Facilitate Risk and Privacy Impact Assessments to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations.

Coordinate legal reviews of End User License Agreements (EULAs) and other contractual documents to mitigate legal risks.

Manage user access and permissions across various software platforms to maintain security and operational integrity.

Provide end-user support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve software-related issues efficiently.

Work with IT to plan and execute server upgrades and software layering, ensuring infrastructure remains current and compatible.

Ensure ongoing software compatibility with evolving infrastructure and technological advancements.

Collect and streamline processes to improve efficiency and support organizational goals.

What's Needed?

Experience in software administration, IT coordination, or technical project management.

Strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities, including proficiency in English.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders across global locations.

Knowledge of enterprise software lifecycle management within a corporate environment.

Understanding of risk, privacy, and legal compliance frameworks related to software management.

Experience with procurement processes and legal documentation is advantageous.

Familiarity with engineering software tools such as Dassault Systems (Solidworks, Abaqus), Hexagon products (PVElite, Tank, Caesar), or Mathcad is a plus.
