Salary Range: $69,388.80 - $91,072.80/year

This is an exempt (salary) position Pay rates are based on education, skill, experience level and internal equity. Internal equity considerations include an assessment of the applicant's salary history and qualifications in comparison to the market rate and requirements for the job

This role is on-site 5 days a week.

Position Summary

This position provides clinical andadministrative supervision to a team of child trauma clinicians who partnerwith law enforcement officers serving children and families impacted byviolence. The CDCP Clinical Supervisor will carry a small caseload of clientfamilies and participate in afterhours and weekend acute response rotation.This supervisor will work in an office setting as well as law enforcementoffices, children's homes, schools, and in the community. This position doesrespond with law enforcement to crime scenes. Previous trauma treatmentexperience and early childhood, child, and adolescent mental health treatmentexperience preferred. Previous partnership with law enforcement and homevisitation experience preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred.Full NC State Licensure as an LCSW or LCMHC is required, Supervisory credentialpreferred.

Supervise licensed clinicians and employees performing clinical interventions and/or case management to individuals impacted by substance use, mental health, domestic violence, trauma and/or developmental disabilities. This supervisory position is responsible for quality along with compliance review and may carry a caseload of its own.

Essential Functions • Duties will vary depending on assignment: • Provide supervision of clinical team to include: management of on-call acute response services and community-based service provision to target population; and/or prioritize and assign work; conduct performance evaluations; ensure employees are trained and maintain licensure; ensure that employees follow policies and procedures; maintaining a healthy and safe working environment; and, making hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations • Review departmental practices and standards and makes recommendations for improvements • Participate in multidisciplinary staffings of clients before and after evaluations, which include reviewing extensive information regarding clients to make decisions with the evaluation team regarding evaluation tools and assessment methods; reviewing clients' level of overall functioning, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations • Review clinical interventions and documentation related to clinical interventions and evaluation • Provide accurate data collection and record-keeping amongst clinical staff, must staff cases regularly with clinicians in individual supervision, group supervision, and multi-disciplinary meeting with law enforcement and child protective service partners to ensure quality service provision and client safety • Responsible for communicating goals and expectations to area clinicians; ensure uniform quality for the clinical services provided, as well as ensure best practices amongst clinical staff • May be required to provide training to law enforcement on child trauma and it's impact on development, as well as provide additional community-based training as requested

Minimum Qualifications Experience: Minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience or training providing clinical services in the area assigned

Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field Combination of relevant education and relevant experience accepted?: No

Licenses and Certifications • Licensure by NC in one of the following areas: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LPA, LMHC (additional certifications may be required based on target population being served) • First Aid and CPR Certification • Requires a valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver's License • Requires County Driving Privileges • Annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of • Community service programs: • Ethical guidelines related to clinical licensure; • Human development and family dynamics and systems • Psychiatric and substance use disorders • Developmental disabilities (as applicable) • Impact of trauma • Best practice treatment modalities and interventions • Multidisciplinary approach to assessment and treatment • Federal, state, national guidelines and laws that impact individuals served • Child trauma: (as applicable) • Childhood trauma to include both acute and long-term symptomology (as applicable) • Typical and Atypical child development to include infant and early childhood development knowledge (as applicable) • Family dynamics and Family dysfunction to include family violence, domestic violence, and child abuse • Childhood physical and sexual abuse presentation, protocol and intervention, and forensic special considerations • Adult and child psychiatric diagnostic criteria continuum and knowledge of appropriate local treatment resources • Child trauma treatment methods to include acute symptom mitigation interventions ("tactical" or relaxation breathing, grounding techniques, mindfulness, etc.) Trauma-Focused Cognitive- Behavioral Therapeutic techniques, art and play-based therapeutic interventions, as well as ability to incorporate other trauma-specific intervention modalities such as EMDR-based or EFTbased interventions for children age 0-18. (as applicable) • Community resources to include child and adolescent treatment providers, resources for families and children impacted by domestic violence and/or homelessness (as applicable) • Multidisciplinary and collaborative approaches to child trauma assessment and intervention (as applicable)

Computer Skills • Proficient in various computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite
