Our Engineering & Construction (E&C) Business Unit is seeking a
Project Manager
to join their team in
Juno Beach, FL . This role is responsible for coordinating internal and external resources to support Development, Engineering, Estimating, Supply Chain, Scheduling, and Construction activities from
pre-construction (Early Stage)
through to the start of Construction for
Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)
projects. Key Responsibilities
Lead coordination of cross-functional project development teams to ensure timely execution aligned with project schedules. Collaborate with environmental, regulatory, land acquisition, interconnection, and other stakeholders to identify and integrate all project variables. Define and develop the technical scope of projects. Optimize technical and financial feasibility of projects. Support origination and development teams in PPA and GIA negotiations. Assist development teams with jurisdictional and permitting requirements. Coordinate engineering, estimating, and procurement needs. Provide technical input to E&C engineering teams for design development. Contribute to cost estimating and financial modeling efforts. Analyze market data to ensure financial health of projects. Present and manage financial models through executive budget approvals. Source, negotiate, and execute contracts for geotechnical, survey, engineering, and EPC/PC services. Represent E&C interests across assigned projects. Utilize project management software and tools to track deliverables and report key indicators. Drive process improvements and scalability initiatives. Communicate with executive leadership, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and local communities. Present project status and risk mitigation strategies to management. Ensure smooth handover to Construction Project Managers with executable plans. Additional Information This role involves managing
multiple projects
at various stages across the
United States and Canada . Occasional travel is required to support development activities and attend local public hearings. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or Accounting. Minimum
5 years of experience
in engineering and construction of renewable energy projects. Strong project management, communication, financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience in electricity markets, renewables, and/or battery projects is a plus. PMP Certification and advanced Excel skills preferred.
