Join Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) as a Behavior Therapist and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This role offers entry to senior level career opportunities to grow in ABA-based therapy helping individuals with autism across home, school, work and community settings.
Overview
Behavior Therapists use applied behavior analysis (ABA) to connect and include individuals with autism in their homes, schools, jobs and communities. The role focuses on making a real difference in the lives of children, teens, and adults with autism. Whether you are starting your career or are an experienced RBT, SARRC provides opportunities for growth and meaningful contribution.
Responsibilities
- Deliver ABA-based therapy to individuals with autism in home, school, work, and community settings.
- Collaborate with BCBA and care teams to implement and adjust treatment plans.
- Collect and document data to track progress and inform next steps.
- Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills.
Who You Are / Qualifications
- Passionate about helping others succeed; no experience required – we provide training and support toward certification.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to work with team members to implement treatment plans.
- Compassionate and adaptable, able to adjust to changing client needs.
- Curious, eager to learn, and proactive in asking questions and seeking knowledge.
- Comfortable using technology and data collection tools.
- RBT certification is required within 30 days of employment.
Salary & Hours
Starting at $21/hour with potential for additional pay for meeting weekly clinical hour requirements. Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–6:00 pm.
Requirements & Benefits
- Reliable transportation to/from clients with a clean driving record (no more than 3 minor violations).
- Equal pay for all billable and non-billable hours; paid travel time and mileage reimbursement.

- Paid time off and 8 holidays per year; annual professional development fund of $1,000; paid training to obtain RBT certification; certification fee reimbursement; tuition reimbursement for BCBA studies.
