Job Description
As an integral part of the project team, you'll report directly to the Project Manager and Superintendent while working closely with the Project Engineer. Your role will touch every phase of construction, ensuring things stay on track, on budget, and aligned with the project vision.
Project Coordination:
Support the development and maintenance of project schedules and coordinate key activities across all phases. Plan & Spec Review:
Assist with reviewing architectural and engineering plans to identify coordination issues and value engineering opportunities. Submittals & Documentation:
Help manage and track RFI's, submittals, shop drawings, and other critical project documents. Project Tracking & Permitting:
Maintain detailed project logs and stay on top of permitting requirements with local and state jurisdictions. Procurement & Buy-Out Support:
Contribute to bidding, purchasing, and scope coordination for subcontractors, vendors, and materials. Cost Management:
Monitor and document project costs, ensuring accurate forecasting and budget control each month. The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate is a driven, detail-oriented professional with a solid foundation in multifamily or commercial construction and a passion for building a long-term career in the industry. Key qualifications include:
3+ years as an Assistant Project Manager with a commercial general contractor or builder/developer Prior involvement in
large-scale multifamily projects
is highly preferred Bachelor's degree in
Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering , or a related field Proficiency in
Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, and the full Microsoft Office Suite Soft Skills & Mindset:
Strong communicator-both written and verbal Highly organized with excellent time-management skills Confident in negotiating contracts and managing teams Deadline-driven with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Eager to
