Overview
Job Description Responsibilities
Own end-to-end architecture for
master data and governance solutions
that establish a single, trusted source of truth for enterprise data.
Define
canonical models , matching/survivorship logic, and hierarchies across data domains.
Design scalable
real-time and batch data ingestion
patterns using APIs, event streaming, and ETL integrations with CRM, ERP, and Data Warehouse systems.
Stand up
data quality management
frameworks—profiling, rules, monitoring, and root-cause remediation.
Deploy and scale
enterprise data catalogs
with automated lineage and metadata harvesting.
Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to embed governance-by-design into modern cloud architectures.
Lead migration, observability, and performance initiatives to ensure high data accuracy, completeness, and latency standards.
Drive
AI-assisted governance
and automation to streamline metadata and stewardship workflows.
Establish and mature
governance operating models , policies, and stewardship roles aligned to compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, ISO).
Qualifications
10+ years
in data management, architecture, or governance, including
5+ years leading MDM initiatives .
Proven experience selecting, deploying, or implementing major MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, Reltio, TIBCO EBX, SAP MDG).
Expertise in
data integration architecture
—REST APIs, pub/sub, ETL/ELT, and event streaming.
Experience implementing
enterprise data catalogs
and lineage automation tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica EDC).
Demonstrated success delivering
data governance frameworks
with policies, workflows, and compliance controls.
Strong stakeholder leadership and ability to run discovery workshops and communicate complex architecture trade-offs.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree or DAMA CDMP certification preferred.
