Job Description
Senior Project Manager Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: 12 months Pay Range: $54.00-$60.00 per hour
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Project Manager to lead critical initiatives in complex and regulated environments. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in change management, risk mitigation, and program leadership, particularly within Financial Crimes, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) domains. This individual will partner with senior leadership to deliver transformative results through disciplined project execution and strategic influence.
Key Qualifications:
5+ years of project management experience in a highly regulated industry (financial services preferred). Proven expertise in change management and large-scale program delivery; PMP certification or equivalent strongly preferred. In-depth knowledge of risk management practices with specific exposure to Financial Crimes, AML, and BSA programs. Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives in collaborative, cross-functional environments. Familiarity with project management methodologies including process improvement, continuous improvement, and LEAN principles. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a strategic, outcome-driven mindset. Responsibilities:
Serve as a trusted Business Execution Advisor to senior leadership, driving performance and advancing strategic initiatives. Develop and deliver executive-level presentations and status reports that communicate progress, insights, and recommendations. Lead the resolution of complex project challenges, leveraging advanced project management and business acumen to design scalable, long-term solutions. Facilitate and lead meetings with executives and key stakeholders to support decision-making and ensure alignment Own and manage core project deliverables, including detailed project plans, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and progress reporting. Engage across multiple lines of business, serving as a senior advisor and thought partner to project teams and leadership
