Senior Project Manager
with deep experience in structural steel and pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) systems to join their high-performing team. Do you have 10+ years of steel erection or fabrication experience? A Day in the Life of the Senior Project Manager In this role, you’ll be leading large-scale structural steel and PEMB projects across diverse sectors, including industrial, commercial, oil & gas, data centers, aviation, and more. You’ll oversee everything from scheduling to billing to team development, all while working closely with general contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. This is a key leadership role with direct impact on project success, client satisfaction, and company growth.
Responsibilities include:
Leading the full project lifecycle: estimating support, contracting, scheduling, financial auditing, billing, and closeout
Coordinating with GCs, vendors, and internal teams
Planning erection sequences and overseeing execution timelines
Managing and mentoring a team of 4+ Project Managers and 4+ Assistant PMs (as you grow into the role)
Using tools like Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and 3D modeling platforms to drive project efficiency
Managing approximately $100M+ in project value annually
Participating in travel 1–2x/month for site visits and team coordination
Requirements and Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in steel erection/fabrication
At least 3 years in an office-based construction PM role
Strong people management experience—mentoring, performance reviews, and leadership input
Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling tools
Solid grasp of financial and contract management
Experience with both structural steel and PEMB projects (steel )
Able to work onsite AND able to travel to sites 1-2 times/month
