We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect (M&A) to lead the technical integration and transformation of newly acquired companies into our cloud ecosystem. This role operates at the intersection of strategy, architecture, and execution—partnering with cross-functional teams to shape the future of our cloud platforms. It’s a leadership opportunity to influence enterprise-wide cloud adoption, modernize legacy systems, and build scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design scalable, secure, and repeatable cloud architectures aligned with business goals and M&A strategies. Conduct technical assessments to identify gaps, define target states, and develop cloud transformation roadmaps. Extend enterprise capabilities to acquired companies, including operating model alignment and deployment strategies. Champion cloud-native technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation. Collaborate with Development, Product, and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless cloud adoption. Evaluate and streamline processes, handoffs, and workflows using automation and modern tooling. Provide thought leadership on cloud governance, architecture best practices, and customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). 4+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments. Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Octopus Deploy, Salt, or Fabric. Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, SDWAN, and routing. Experience designing High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions, including multi-region active/active setups. Proven ability to work with acquired companies and align them with enterprise cloud strategies. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services). Familiarity with Well-Architected Frameworks and multi-tenant architecture. Passion for learning and staying ahead of cloud trends.
