A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You’re equally comfortable explaining your team\'s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of AI-powered experiences in the home. You will lead programs involving multiple teams and product areas, and will identify issues and opportunities across the organization and establish scalable operating models and systems to improve effectiveness, consistency, and efficiency. You will also advocate for the program management function and build alignment. The Google Home team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays. The Home team researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users’ homes more helpful. Our mission is the helpful home: to create a home that cares for the people inside it and the world around it. For US roles, the base salary range is provided in the job posting and may include bonus, equity, and benefits. The compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and individual pay is influenced by location and other factors. Responsibilities

Drive delivery of new capabilities and quality improvements. Manage timelines, issues, and risks. Build operating partnerships across functions and teams to identify and manage dependencies. Manage project communications and escalations across teams and upwards to leadership. Create processes and systems that enable teams to work quickly and efficiently.
