Location: Biola University - 13800 Biola Avenue, La Mirada, CA 90639. Schedule: Part time, 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm, days may vary; weekends are included. Online applications accepted only.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses a dishwashing machine as assigned; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate methods; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and disposes of it in designated containers; steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; helps load and unload supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Requirement: Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but not required.
• Perks: Free shift meal, free uniforms, and willingness to train.
• Fixed pay rate: $17.00 per hour
