The Role & Schedule


KidStrong Everett is rapidly growing, and we are looking for talented, enthusiastic professionals who are passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids to make an impact on their lives. This position is a cross-training role offering the right person the ability to coach on the floor at KidStrong and also work with parents in the lobby for membership needs.



  • Our classes run primarily on weekdays 9:00am-11:00am and evenings until 7:30pm, and weekends 8:00am-3:30pm.

  • Primary coaching hours: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings 9:00am-11:00am; weekend availability within 9:00am-3:30pm.

  • Opportunity to work more hours assisting as a lobby coach for member needs at the front desk during business hours (4:00pm-7:30pm weekdays and weekends 9:00am-3:30pm).

  • Opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on center needs.

  • Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private party coaching.



Coach Responsibilities



  • Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children; age range roughly 12 months old to 11 years old.

  • Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team.

  • Ensure classes start and end on schedule and follow the appropriate pace of curriculum.

  • Greet students and the parent(s)/guardian(s) individually prior to and at the beginning of class.

  • Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading class.

  • Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises.

  • Effectively use the KS Coach’s App Technology as taught to you in training.

  • Communicate professionally with co-workers.

  • Work in a physically intensive environment - coaching is an active job, moving through class, lifting and repeatedly moving equipment up to 25 pounds.

  • Hands-on coaching with kids to ensure proper technique and safety.

  • Assist parents of students, ages 3 and younger, with the direction and flow of a class.

  • Attend monthly center staff programming meetings to receive training for next month’s curriculum.



Job Qualifications



  • Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!

  • Prior experience coaching students is preferred.

  • Confidence in speaking to and educating parents.

  • CPR certified.

  • Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.

  • Self-starter who just gets a job done.
