Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/27/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with a NYS DOH license (or active application) and at least 1 year of CT experience to provide coverage at a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma teaching facility. Responsibilities Work across inpatient, outpatient, mobile, and emergency department settings Level 1 trauma center and teaching hospital with 700 beds across 2 campuses Perform all types of CT exams, including head, pelvis, trauma, cardiac imaging, and CT angiograms Utilize GE Revolution, GE Discovery, and Toshiba Quillion1 CT scanners Night shift position working from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM Every other weekend coverage required Responsible for performing a full range of CT procedures, including trauma and specialized cardiac imaging Must adhere to dress code: matching solid-color scrubs (no patterns), closed-toe shoes, and proper grooming for fit-testing Long hair must be tied back and beards trimmed as required for fit-testing No chipped nail paint and no excessive jewelry permitted Staff may experience high-acuity trauma cases typical of a teaching facility Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a reduced rate Requirements Current NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License (or documentation of completed application at consideration); license required if applicable Registered Technologist (R.T.)
