Responsibilities Work in a CT department within a Level I trauma, stroke-accredited, community hospital Patient population includes emergency, inpatient, adult ICU, and operating room cases Procedures performed include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion Uses advanced CT technology in a fast-paced emergency setting Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), with every third weekend rotation (Friday/Saturday 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM) Participate in on-call rotation, one 24-hour call shift (Saturday or Sunday) every six weeks with a one-hour response time 26-week contract assignment CT technologist is responsible for operating CT equipment and ensuring high-quality imaging Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to prioritize patient safety and comfort Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to regulatory compliance Team-oriented environment with high acuity patient care Two professional references required, with at least one from a supervisor or formal leader Former employees eligible if more than 6 months separated from the facility Current employees of Ohio State University hospitals are not eligible for consideration Locals accepted at the same rate Time-off requests must be submitted upfront and included in the contract Prompt completion of Ohio fingerprinting process is mandatory Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT technologist Current ARRT and BLS certifications required ARRT advanced certification preferred Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call duties License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615733.
