Responsibilities Work as the sole MRI technologist on a semi-mobile MRI unit serving acute care settings Assignment covers multiple hospitals in MN, SD, and IA with travel not exceeding 150 miles from Sioux Falls, SD Rides daily on the semi-mobile MRI Monday through Friday with a provided driver; no nights or weekends required Daily schedule typically starts at either 5:30 am or 6:30 am depending on the caseload Sees 1-3 hospitals per day in the mobile unit Performs MRI studies independently utilizing GE Explorer Lift 24.0 OS 1.5T, GE Architect 26.0 OS 3.0T, Siemens Espree1.5T, and SECTRA PACS system EPIC charting system is used; prior experience is valued No floating to other departments Responsible for performing MRI procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort in a mobile setting Position supports acute care settings and Level 1 trauma hospitals Must be comfortable with daily travel on a mobile MRI unit and variable caseloads based on patient demand No driving responsibilities; a driver is provided for the mobile unit Gray scrubs are required Environment involves collaboration with multiple hospital sites and limited on-site team support All clinicians must badge in and out at each facility Candidates with previous employment at this health system must have a 6-month break in service prior to consideration Local candidates within 80 miles may be considered but may be subject to different compensation Requirements Minimum 5 years recent MRI technologist experience required Current ARRT(MR) registration and BLS certification required Demonstrated proficiency in Neuro, MSK, and Abdominal imaging Ability to work independently in a mobile environment License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-607589.
