Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a high-volume outpatient setting, requiring a minimum of one year of mammography experience and an active WA license.

Responsibilities Work in an outpatient mammography department serving adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients Perform 3-D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, fine needle aspirations, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsies Department operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts, typically 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Floating between multiple campus locations within the state is required Epic EMR is used and experience is required First-time travelers will be considered All technologists receive observation of 25 exams before independent work Role includes responsibility for quality control activities as mandated by MQSA and FDA Must be open to performing quality assurance in conjunction with regulatory standards Reliable transportation is required due to traveling between sites Returning employees from affiliated systems must be separated for at least three months before being eligible for a travel contract Minimal to no RTO; any requests should be disclosed prior to submission COVID and flu vaccination documentation may be required Scrub or dress code details will be provided upon assignment

Requirements Active Washington State license required if applicable Minimum 1 year of experience in mammography required, 2 years strongly preferred BLS and ARRT certifications required Proficiency in performing diagnostic and screening mammograms, as well as specialized procedures Ability to operate mammography and associated radiographic equipment Two recent supervisory references covering a year of employment in the past three years, within a comparable specialty, are required
