About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Learning Officer to lead its mission of providing excellent early education, particularly in under-resourced communities. The successful candidate will be an innovative educational leader with a strong background in child development, curriculum, and instructional best practices. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the organization's Montessori-inspired curriculum is effectively delivered to all learners, including multi-lingual and special needs children. The Chief Learning Officer will also be responsible for championing a culture of continuous improvement, using data to validate and enhance educational practices, and ultimately, ensuring that all children are prepared for a successful transition to kindergarten and a lifelong love of learning.
Applicants for the Chief Learning Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 15 years' of relevant experience, with a focus on managing interdisciplinary teams. A proven track record in using data to drive improvements and a deep understanding of child development and evidence-based instructional practices are essential. The role requires exceptional analytical skills, the ability to build effective relationships, and a commitment to the organization's mission. While not mandatory, a higher degree in a relevant field and experience with early childhood curricula, including various pedagogies, are preferred.
