Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 38 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least one year of neuro and general IR experience and current ARRT R, BLS, ACLS, and MD state license. Responsibilities Work in a short-term acute care, teaching hospital's Interventional Radiology unit Caseload includes general IR, diagnostic neuro and IR cases, drainages, CT, embolization, TIPPS, angioplasty, and stent placement Handles a daily caseload of 5-10 cases Day shifts are 4x9.5 hours (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Ten call shifts per month and three weekend shifts per contract May float within units of equivalent or lower acuity per facility policy Uses Cerner for charting; Cerner experience preferred First time travelers are accepted Responsibilities include performing general and neuro interventional radiology procedures, drainages, embolizations, CT-guided interventions, TIPPS, angioplasty, and stent placement Scrubs are provided Flu vaccine is required for all employees Online orientation must be completed before the first scheduled shift Return staff must have at least a one year gap since previous employment at the facility Local candidates within a 60 mile radius are accepted at a local rate Up to seven days of requested time off allowed per 13 week contract, with no time off permitted during the first two weeks May come into contact with COVID-19 patients Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology, Angiography, or Special Procedures with neuro and IR skills Current ARRT R, BLS, ACLS, and Maryland state license required (license required if applicable) References from two supervisors required Ability to perform a wide range of general and neuro IR procedures Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-587345.
