CHI Health Clinic delivers primary to specialty care, walk-in and virtual services with more than 20 specialties and 100 locations. This position supports healthcare teams by ensuring they have what they need to care for patients and contributes to a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient check-in and complete all required paperwork to ensure an efficient admitting process in compliance with clinic and regulatory policies.
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
- Schedule appointments according to office guidelines.
- Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collect copays and deductibles as applicable.
- Copy/scan patient-related materials into the electronic medical record.
- Prepare charts for patient appointments with all necessary information.
- Handle patient check-out duties, including collecting payments and scheduling follow-up appointments.
- Manage record filing, retrieval, and assist with filing registration documents in electronic medical records.
- Confirm next-day appointments and communicate required documentation and time-of-service details to patients.
- Follow up with patients regarding No Show guidelines and relevant communications.
- Manage interdepartmental, outgoing, and incoming mail flow.
- Assist with office supply ordering and inventory procedures as needed.
- Notify clinical staff of patient arrivals and inform patients of any appointment delays.
- Perform cash drawer reconciliation.

Experience (required and preferred):
- 0 – 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
Pay
$15.67 - $22.14 / hour
