Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to join our team. This full-time role is ideal for someone with solid accounting support experience who is comfortable using Sage and spreadsheet software. No degree required, but prior related experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile financial data and submit reports electronically
- Handle state billing processes
- Prepare bank deposits and maintain accurate records of receipts
- Manage Accounts Receivable including billing and collections
- Perform Accounts Payable data entry
- Reconcile checkbooks and maintain accurate financial records
- Utilize Sage accounting software and spreadsheets effectively
- Perform other accounting clerk duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
- Proficient in Sage or similar accounting software
- Comfortable with Excel or other spreadsheet programs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable and able to meet deadlines
