College Station is seeking an Acute Care NPD to help serve 150 nurses with onboarding, tracking comps, rounding, putting together team trainings within their Med-Surg and IMU areas. A Registered Nurse in Nursing Professional Development Generalist role uses expertise to enhance healthcare methods for learners. You'll identify the needs of our staff, work closely with various teams, and modify educational material to suit those needs. You will help implement education plans. You'll design and assess educational activities and projects. You'll engage team members and implement evidence-based content. Involve learners in evaluation and adjust material based on data collected. You'll build relationships with various community education programs and weave ethics through all aspects of your educational practice. Familiarity with nursing practices, standards of patient care and procedures. Knowledgeable in the areas of health promotion, illness prevention, and healthcare terminology. A deep respect for medical and nursing ethics, and commitment to safeguarding patient confidentiality. Adaptable teaching skills that cater to diverse learning methods.
