Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and client-facing Functional Architect with deep subject matter expertise in Oracle Fusion Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Cloud. The ideal candidate will be a key contributor in our client engagements, responsible for leading discovery workshops, analyzing business requirements, and designing robust and scalable solutions that leverage the full capabilities of Oracle Fusion PLM Cloud. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills to serve as a trusted advisor to our clients.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Requirements Analysis:
Lead client workshops and interviews to gather and analyze business requirements related to product lifecycle management, including Item, Bill of Materials (BOM), Change Management, and Product Data Hub (PDH) processes.
Solution Design & Configuration:
Translate business requirements into a functional design document. Architect and configure the Oracle Fusion PLM Cloud application to meet client needs, ensuring best practices are followed.
Advisory & Strategy:
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and a primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance on best-in-class PLM processes and how to optimize their use of the Oracle Cloud platform.
Implementation Leadership:
Guide the technical team in the development of customizations, integrations, and data migration strategies. Lead system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live activities.
Sales & Presales Support:
Assist in presales activities, including the preparation of proposals, statements of work, and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
Mentorship:
Mentor and provide guidance to junior functional consultants, helping them grow their expertise in Oracle Fusion PLM.
Qualifications
Experience:
A minimum of 15 years of experience with Oracle applications, with at least 5 years focused on implementing and configuring Oracle Fusion PLM Cloud.
Technical Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of core PLM processes, including:
Item Management
Change Management
Bill of Materials (BOM) Management
Product Data Hub (PDH)
Product Development and Innovation Management
Client Skills:
Proven ability to lead and manage client relationships, conduct effective workshops, and present complex information clearly and concisely.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address client challenges.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
Preferred Qualifications
Oracle Cloud PLM implementation certifications.
Experience with other Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) Cloud modules (e.g., Inventory, Manufacturing).
Experience with data migration strategies and tools
Travel:
50% travel to Austin, TX for the first 6-8 months and then 25% ongoing travel.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $46.30 to $95.91 per hour; from: $96,300 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
