The Patriot
Program Quality Lead
(PQL) in Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS), will support Patriot Product Line (PPL) Quality team on the Patriot Radar at our
Andover, MA
location. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; interfacing with the Factory to guide Production issue resolution, Continuous improvement, and Cost Savings initiatives. This Individual should have a quality mindset, proficient communication skills and ability to lead teams and collaborate across multiple functions to aid the Patriot Radar IPT.
The successful candidate will proactively engage with the product line and work in partnership with Product Leadership, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Execution, Operations, Deployed Teams and the Quality team. This role will work to ensure the effective implementation of Quality and Mission Assurance requirements of the programs, and occasionally interface with U.S. Government Customers, Foreign Customers, and Suppliers. In this role they will support proactive and reactive engagements across our factories and suppliers that support the Global Patriot portfolio, implement quality processes to reduce overall product lifecycle cost and risk.
This is an on-site position in Andover, Massachusetts
What You Will Do
:
Interface with the program quality teams, programs, customers, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), overseeing technical, quality and compliance to Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements.
Closely interface with external and internal customers and key partners to establish effective relationships.
Must have the ability to manage and impact across multiple levels of stakeholders, as it is vital to the success of this role.
Responsible for quality of delivered products and services to our customers, stakeholders of quality risks, uncertainties and opportunities, key team members in resolution of customer expectations and relationships related to Quality and Mission Assurance.
Partner with IPT Leads on Product Issue Investigation and Resolution
Lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities for product issues
Responsible for improving processes or systems using Quality science tools. Problems and issues faced are numerous and undefined, and information gathering requires working across functions.
Qualification You Must Have
:
Typically requires Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (5) years of relevant experience.
Working experience with CORS (Cost of rework and Scrap) and/or COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality)
Working experience in providing technical support for manufacturing and/or design processes.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Experience with APQP
Six Sigma, Lean, CORE, or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification.
Active U.S. security clearance.
Experience in other functional areas such as engineering, supply chain, or operations.

Hands-on experience in solving both business and technical problems.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
