Job Overview

Part Time Produce role at UNFI Canada. Cub Burnsville HOTC on Travelers Trail is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time produce position. Produce team members are responsible for ensuring shelves are stocked, organized, and visually appealing for customers. Product rotation is a critical responsibility to ensure product freshness and help minimize waste. This role requires attention to detail and strong customer service skills which help contribute to an efficient and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs aisle stocking and display building
• Sorting of produce stock loads
• Assist cashiers with price checks and product replacement
• Assist customers with questions about product locations and suggestions
• Answers department phone calls and responds or refers as appropriate
• Follows all store and department policies and procedures

Job Requirements

• Equipment operation (fork lift, pallet jack, carts, box cutter, baler, etc.)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• Memorization, reading, writing and math
• On-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service
• Good judgment; ability to work with limited supervision
• Ability to understand and follow verbal/demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be at least 16 years of age

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 70 lbs
• Pushing/pulling up to 2500 lbs
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, repetitive motions
• Exposure to hot equipment and cooking oil

Schedule

• Varied weekly shifts
