$16.21/hr - $19.75/hr

Cedarfield Server

• Part time. 20 hours per week, 4pm-9pm hours vary. Some weekends & Holidays needed.

Job Description

Education, Experience, Certifications and Licensure Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least one year of related experience is preferred.

Job Duties

• Responsible for the customer\'s dining satisfaction.
• Place food orders and deliver food and drink to residents as trained
• Clearing courses and performing cleaning of assigned dining areas.
• Participate in set-up and breakdown of special function events.
• Attend all mandatory in-service training sessions.
• Assist with the training and development of other servers as requested.
• Assist in restocking and sanitation of wait stations and service areas used during service.
• Additional duties as assigned

Knowledge And Skills

• Knowledge of dining room procedures, presentation, service, bussing, customer relations and sanitation
• Comfortable using personal computers and handheld devices. Must be able to use Microsoft Office
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Comfortable working with older adults.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, performing multiple tasks while maintaining the highest level of productivity and professionalism.

Physical Requirements And Working Conditions

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Extensive walking, pulling, pushing, carrying, bending, stooping and standing
• Ability to, taste, and smell.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English
• Exposure to heat and cold in a food production environment.
• Must be neat and clean at all times.
• Cross training, flexibility and working some holidays and during inclement weather are required in dining services to meet the needs of the community
