Certified Medical Assistant
to work at a Facility in
Philadelphia, PA.

Pay Rate:
$25 / hour *W2
Shift Details:
Class: CMA - ABH - PA Shift: 1 Start: 06: 30: 00 End: 15: 00: 00 Requirements:
Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program. CPR/BLS Certification. Experience with behavioral health and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred. Description:
Certified Medical Assistants ensure efficient patient flow by assisting with check-in, taking vitals, and preparing exam rooms. They perform point-of-care tests, administer vaccinations (as permitted by state law), and assist with lab work. They respond to patient inquiries, maintain accurate medical records, and assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and durable medical equipment orders. They also provide patient education on medication adherence, smoking cessation, and overall health management, maintain infection control standards, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
