Job Summary:

The Siding Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of siding installation on residential and commercial construction projects. This includes managing siding crews, ensuring quality control, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating daily operations to ensure timely and on-budget completion. This role requires a deep understanding of siding systems, the ability to interpret blueprints, and proven leadership in managing field operations and subcontractors.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Assign daily responsibilities to siding crews based on project schedules and skill sets Monitor job site productivity, craftsmanship, and safety compliance Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to project specs Coordinate material deliveries and ensure proper use to minimize waste Train and mentor team members in siding best practices and installation techniques Enforce safety procedures and OSHA standards across all job sites Evaluate crew performance, provide feedback, and address personnel issues as needed Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to meet timelines Maintain accurate records of work completed, attendance, incidents, and material usage Duties/ Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day siding installation activities for assigned projects Review blueprints and construction plans to ensure proper execution of siding work Monitor inventory of siding materials and order supplies as necessary Perform regular site walks to inspect work and ensure alignment with plans and safety protocols Address and resolve field issues, including discrepancies in drawings or material availability Manage subcontractors and in-house teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards Ensure siding work meets building codes, manufacturer guidelines, and client expectations Conduct pre-task planning and participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks Support the team with hands-on siding tasks when necessary Document daily field activities, including production tracking and safety compliance Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of siding materials Enforce company policies and promote a positive and respectful work culture Other duties as assigned Education/Certifications/Licenses

High School Diploma or GED required Trade certification or vocational training in siding or general construction is preferred OSHA 30 Certification required (or ability to obtain) First Aid/CPR Certification is a plus Valid Driver's License required Experience

5-10 years of hands-on siding installation experience in residential and/or commercial construction 2-3 years of supervisory experience leading siding or exterior construction crews Proven experience reading and interpreting construction plans and technical drawings Experience ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards and building codes Familiarity with various siding systems including vinyl, fiber cement, wood, and metal panels Experience coordinating with subcontractors and working within construction project schedules Required Skills/Abilities

Expertise in siding installation methods and materials (vinyl, Hardie, LP, metal, wood, etc.) Strong understanding of weatherproofing, flashing, insulation, and trim applications Ability to manage crews effectively, delegate tasks, and maintain project momentum Skilled in reading blueprints and layout drawings for siding and trim installations Capable of problem-solving and addressing job site challenges proactively Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with other trades and stakeholders Proficient in job tracking, documentation, and reporting tools Knowledge of tools and equipment required for siding tasks and ability to perform minor maintenance Familiarity with local building codes, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices Physical Demands/Working Environment

Working Environment Indoor and outdoor job sites Exposure to varying weather conditions, high temperatures, and potential job site hazards May be exposed to loud noise, dust, and construction-related fumes Confined areas, elevated surfaces, and use of ladders or scaffolding Overtime or weekend work may be required depending on project timelines Benefits:
