Our client in Fayetteville, AR is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Production Control Coordinator

to join their manufacturing team. The Production Control Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that materials, inventory, and production schedules are accurately managed and aligned to meet production goals. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of manufacturing operations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

As a

Production Control Coordinator , you will be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, coordinating material movement, and supporting the production team by ensuring that fabrication and assembly operations stay on schedule. This is a hands-on role that combines administrative accuracy with physical activity, making it an excellent fit for someone who enjoys both office and shop floor work.

Key Responsibilities Maintain and update accurate inventory records and component locations within MRP/ERP systems. Record all material movements and transactions promptly and correctly. Pick and kit jobs completely and accurately to support fabrication and assembly schedules. Communicate daily with work-cell leads and the Production Scheduler to adjust priorities as needed. Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels, including performing cycle counts, min-max reporting, and scrap processing. Identify and propose at least two process-improvement opportunities per month to enhance efficiency. Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely material availability. Assist in developing and implementing production control policies and procedures Maintain compliance with company safety and quality standards. Qualifications

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly and stand for extended periods (8+ hours per day). Comfortable working in a non-air-conditioned shop environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems; experience with COUNTERPART is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and understand Bills of Material (BOMs). Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
