Job Responsibilities: Provide legal support and strategic advice on high net worth lending products, services, and regulatory matters including securities-based loans, unsecured loans, and cross-border transactions. Review legal documents, interpret laws and regulations, perform legal research, and communicate legal advice to internal partners. Manage external counsel and coordinate work with legal staff and paralegals. Analyze legal issues related to lending products and services. Support structuring, negotiating, and documenting various loans. Assist with loan workouts, distressed scenarios, and audits. Ensure compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and opinions. Support responses to government examinations, investigations, enforcement actions, and litigation. Collaborate with internal teams including product management, risk, compliance, and audit. Skills Required: Advisory and influence skills Interpretation of relevant laws and regulations Risk management and critical thinking Legal drafting and writing Regulatory compliance Attention to detail and collaboration Executive presence and problem-solving Minimum Qualifications: Juris Doctorate and active bar admission At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in law firms or in-house at a financial institution Strong understanding of lending documentation, regulations, and securities laws Excellent communication, risk analysis, and resolution skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software Additional Details: Education: Doctorate degree in a related field Shift: 1st shift (U.S. based) Hours: 40 hours/week This job is currently active and accepting applications.
