This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and well-established department, focusing primarily on hip and knee replacements.

With a full-time Sports Medicine Surgeon handling shoulder surgeries, you will have the chance to specialize in hip and knee cases.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in a wide range of joint replacement surgeries, including primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasties, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities: - Deliver expert care in diagnosing, treating, and surgically managing hip and knee conditions.

- Perform primary and revision total hip and knee arthroplasties, partial joint replacements, and related procedures.

- Collaborate with a team of orthopedic surgeons to provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care.

- Conduct preoperative evaluations and provide postoperative care and follow-up.

- Utilize evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes and stay current on advancements in joint replacement technology.

- Maintain accurate medical records and provide education and support to patients.

- Participate in quality improvement efforts and continuing medical education initiatives.

Work Schedule: - Full-time position with a balanced mix of clinic and surgery days.

Required Qualifications: - Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery, with a focus on total joint surgery.

- Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction, Total Joint Surgery, or similar specialty preferred.

- Eligibility for medical licensure in North Carolina.

- Extensive experience in total hip and knee arthroplasty.

- Strong surgical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
