Constellation Service Company, headquartered in Topeka, KS, is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to help drive decision-making across our organization through impactful data visualization and analytics. You'll work closely with subject matter experts to design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and data models that turn complex information into actionable insights. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys solving business problems with data.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain intuitive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
* Create and optimize data models, measures, and DAX expressions to support enterprise reporting
* Write and refine T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to prepare and structure data for analysis
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define, validate, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
* Serve as an internal data consultant, helping teams interpret and use data effectively
* Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reporting platforms
* Assist with ERP system reporting and data integration related to Power BI
Position Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field (or equivalent education) Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query (M) Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
