Package Designer

We are looking for a Package Designer for a top beauty company in El Segundo, CA. Responsibilities Organized Create 2D + 3D renderings for product packaging Mechanical work and laying out artwork Ensure packaging designs adhere to industry standards, regulations, and guidelines Pack up files to send to suppliers Understand printing deco treatments, pantones, foil, etc. Experience using TAG (software to upload/approve artwork) Conceptual design for secondary packaging Experience creating grandioso moodboards that speak to the concept Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, manufacturing) to understand packaging requirements and project goals Conduct design research and stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovative packaging designs Avoid roadblocks and develop proactive solutions Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure successful execution of packaging designs Maintain attention to detail and ensure designs meet quality standards and are error-free Adhere to project timelines and deliver designs within deadlines Adapt to changing project requirements and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Follow brand guidelines and illustrate a brand pattern for use across all mediums

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field Proven experience as a Packaging Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dimension) and other relevant design software Strong understanding of packaging design principles, materials, and production processes Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts Exceptional attention to detail and strong aesthetic sense Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently Strong time management and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple projects Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Forward-thinking with proactive attitude
