OMG currently operates in two Divisions: OMG Roofing Products and FastenMaster®. OMG Roofing Products is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of value-added components for the commercial roofing industry. The FastenMaster Division manufactures and markets innovative, premium quality wood-to-wood fasteners that are engineered to enable professional contractors to complete building projects safer, faster, and easier.

Position Overview

The Associate Product Manager supports the product team in delivering value to customers through effective product development, marketing execution, and cross-functional collaboration. This is an entry-level role focused on learning product management fundamentals, understanding product lines, and contributing to key initiatives.

Position Responsibilities Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all OMG employees. Support new product development projects within assigned categories. Assist in sales training execution and customer support. Participate in Voice of Customer (VOC) processes and marketing campaigns. Learn and apply OMG's competitive advantage methodology. Present prepared materials to internal teams and customers. Begin building product and market knowledge; observe trends and competitor activity. Support pricing and profitability efforts. Gain familiarity with cost structure (BOM, value streams). Assist with channel strategy execution. Develop understanding of product life cycle and portfolio positioning. Learn to interpret sales data and identify early trends. Learn how demand forecasts are created and used in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. Support fill rate performance initiatives through analysis and internal coordination. Contribute to product line simplification and SKU rationalization efforts. Participate in quality issue monitoring and communication. Perform other tasks as assigned. Position Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in sales, marketing or product management. Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to influence people. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to establish and maintain relationships inside and outside the organization at all levels. Strong PC skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Positive attitude, good judgment and excellent time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and accomplish things in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating a strong bias for action. Able to participate in construction job site visits. Able to work flexible hours with some weekends required. Ability to travel up to 30%. Physical Requirements

Ability to operate a motor vehicle while maintaining focus on safe driving and avoiding all distractions when behind the wheel, especially cell phones. Ability to stand, walk and sit for long periods of time; talk and hear, both in person and by telephone; handle or feel objects or controls, reach with hands and arms; and occasionally lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to complete all essential job functions listed in the position responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
