Responsibilities Design and develop hardware systems, including schematic capture and PCB layout. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (firmware, mechanical, software) to define hardware requirements and prototype. Prototype and test circuit boards to validate performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Select appropriate components based on design requirements, cost, availability, and lifecycle. Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters. Support the transition of designs from prototype to production, including DFM/DFT considerations. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including schematics, BOMs, test reports, and technical specifications.
